Top 5 Anticipated Reads: July 2021 – June 2022 Check-in

I had planned on checking in way more often, but I have to start at some point. Here are all the releases I was interested in since I started this segment until now, so July 2021 to June 2022 (well, you’ll actually see it’s only until May because I forgot June, but it felt better as a year lol). Luckily, I missed a lot of months within that year so it may not be as dense as I fear. Going forward, to make sure to avoid so long posts, I’ll make sure to check-in quarterly and make it one of my quarterly check-in posts (way less daunting).

So how am I going to do this? This post will likely just be the cover, whether or not I’ve read it and my rating with a quick sentence or two on thoughts or a link to my review if they exist. I’m sorry because I know this is just going to be a super long post…. sigh, so without further adieu – let’s do this!

Alright, this is the second last check-in if all is going to plan. Just this and then I was hoping to check in with the last year’s Top 5 Releases to see whether or not I’ve read any of them yet. 2022 Goals: Priority Series | Quarter 2 Check-in

I’m already dreading this check-in. I’m 99% sure that nothing has changed since last quarter, as far as my series are concerned. I have one I’m planning on reading this month, but I think that’s the only change (one I can’t even guarantee will happen lol). I’ve already looked at a couple of other goals from this year: 10 Bookish Goals, 2022 Most Anticipated & 22 Books in 2022.

Most Anticipated Reads of 2022 – Quarter 2 Check-in

Well, it turns out I missed this one entirely in Quarter 1, but at the same time I feel like most of these weren’t released at this time so maybe that was for the best. This will be part of the Quarterly Check-in series going forward: already looked at for Quarter 2 is 10 Bookish Goals, the rest are scheduled for the rest of July (one per week)..

So the plan here is to update you (and myself) on whether or not I’ve read my list of Most Anticipated for 2022. I only plan on updating UP TO what has been released to date, so nothing released after July 9th. Ideally, I will make a post looking back over every year, but that will take time – so in the eventual future. In the meantime, let’s see what I’ve read and what I haven’t. If I’ve read it, I’ll let you know when I read it, my rating, any other thoughts, and link to my review if I wrote one. Easy enough.
