I’m trying to bring back my TBR posts regularly. In the past I’ve found that I’m more of a mood reader; however, in the past 6 months or so, I’ve been finding that I read more when I set a TBR. I have a few that I have to read, some that ARCs I want to read, and just some others to throw in the mix. I also plan on participating in Reading Rivalry (a Facebook reading group) and I will indicate the prompts I know a book will fit. That being said, let’s get into it.

Books I Have to Read
These books are on the list because I have buddy/group reads for them that are being hosted on TBR and Beyond Book Club on Facebook.

All the Missing Girls by Megan Miranda is a book I’ve had on my TBR FOREVER! I’m so happy to finally being forced to prioritize this book. I’m really hoping I enjoy Miranda’s writing because I own 3 more books of hers.
Brining Down the Duke by Evie Dunmore is one I had on my radar when it came out, but I hadn’t picked it up right away because I was waiting for the book to go on sale. Now that I own it and there’s a buddy read of it, I knew I had to prioritize it in February. Plus we’re reading the two books already out in this series.
I’ve tentatively put A Rogue of One’s Own by Evie Dunmore on my TBR. Obviously, I’ll only read it if I enjoy Bringing Down the Duke. But also, it’s February so all the Romance I can add to my TBR I will be adding lol.

Legendborn by Tracy Deonn is another group read, but lower priority for me. I’m hoping to get to it because I’ve heard so many good things about it.
All Systems Red by Martha Wells is a group read that I’m leading. It’s another series that I’m curious about. I’m curious about this entire series – what series starts out with novellas and then book 5 is a full-length novel. It’s another series I’ve heard amazing things about.
One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London is about a plus-size woman who sends a complaint to a reality tv show about the lack of plus-size women on their dating reality show. This results in her becoming involved in the show. I love reality tv – I haven’t watched The Bachelor or Bachelorette, but I have watched other dating shows – and the the idea of a rom-com attacking this idea is perfect for me.
ARCs I’m Prioritizing
Some of these are on my own, while others are part of a tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours.

Hot British Boyfriend by Kristy Boyce sounds absolutely adorable.. and surprise surprise a contemporary romance! This tour is from February 8th-14th.
I got a copy of The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna from Fairyloot (and may I just say it is a gorgeous book!). This tour is scheduled for February 8th-14th too. This will also fit for one of my prompts for next month – book featuring a BIPOC character.
Last of my tours is Of Silver and Shadow by Jennifer Gruenke. This tour is scheduled for February 15th-21st. I’m thinking this one will fit the prompt for Defying the Crown – since there is a political rebellion.

Isoldesse by Kimberly Grymes has such a gorgeous cover. It’s tour is set for February 22nd -28th.
Revenge of the Sluts by Natalie Walton I picked up purely for the title! But, it does sound like a really good contemporary thriller that takes place in a high school and looks like it’s going to talk about social media and privacy and possibly bullying (if nothing else I’m assuming slut shaming). I can’t wait to read this debut.
Last ARC that I’m going to hope and pray that I can squeeze in is Crown of Bones by A K Wilder. This book technically came out in January, but it’s a fantasy romance that I’ve heard great things about.
Backlist
Ok now for any other book that aren’t buddy reads or ARCs. These are ones I’m really hoping to get through – and you’ll definitely see a theme – I’ve been drawn to this genre recently and I think February fits it perfectly.

The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L Jensen has been on my radar FOREVER! I finally picked it up along with a bunch of other indie published Fantasy Romance books that I’m hoping to pick up this month. This will also fit another prompt for A Character with a secret identity or deceptive behaviour.
Fortuna Sworn by K J Sutton got on my radar after Becca & the Books read and reviewed it. It sounds like a really good dark and brooding fae romance and I need more of that in my life!
Lastly is A Vow so Bold and Deadly I just got for my Birthday, so I’m excited to finish off this series as soon as I can! Plus it still fits in my “theme” of Fantasy Romances lol. I’m thinking this one could possibly work for Quest/Journey, Reluctant Hero, or Defying the Crown – but we’ll see where this story goes before I pin down exactly where it fits.
Wow! 15 books! After this month’s reading, I’ve got my fingers crossed that I actually get to all of these. With not many of these having audiobooks, I’ve been reading slower and I’m worried about getting to all of these. Hopefully, with this TBR in place I’ll feel a little more organized and less sure on what to read. You’ll see from my wrap-up that I couldn’t pin-down a book for a while.
The prompts I haven’t picked out yet are book honouring Black History Month, book from the Time Top 100 Fantasy Book List, and book featuring the chosen one (of course I have to pick what Vow fits for). Do you know if any of the books I haven’t picked a prompt for will work?
Have you read any of these? What did you think? Do you plan on reading any of them? Let me know in the comments below.

I hope you have a great reading month! I really want to read The Gilded Ones as well!

I have Isoldesse on my list for this month and I have to admit that I requested the eARC simply because of how beautiful the cover is. I don’t know much about it yet but I am looking forward to getting stuck in. You have some amazing books listed here so I hope you get around to and enjoy as many as you can!
