Don’t Say a Word by Amber Lynn Natusch Blog Tour (Plus Giveaway)

Dare You to Lie came out last year and I really enjoyed how Kylene was inspired by Veronica Mars.  When I found out that TBR and Beyond was hosting a Blog Tour for Don’t Say a Word (Hometown Antihero #2) I was super excited to participate – plus I have to promote fellow Canadians as much as possible!  Thanks for TBR and Beyond for hosting this blog tour (click previous link to see others on the Blog Tour) and the publisher for providing me with a eARC of the book.  I’ve already started it and I’m absolutely loving it – just life got ahead of me and I wasn’t able to finish it before this tour (like I had hoped).

Today I will be telling you a bit about Don’t Say a Word, a little about Amber (along with her social media links) and casting ideas for the main characters – which I had so much fun creating.  Don’t forget to read through to the end to find out more about the giveaway (US/Canada Only).

But trying to investigate in the small town where a defensive lineman is a hero no matter who he tries to kill and the girl who gets him locked up is public enemy number one is dangerous. Dark secrets are everywhere in Jasperville—the kind Ky can’t walk away from.

When rookie FBI agent Cedric Dawson returns to town to finish an open investigation, he goes undercover at her high school—as her ex. Determined to keep her from interfering, Dawson’s plan backfires after Ky gets an anonymous call about missing girls officially labeled as runaways—runaways that didn’t really run away at all.

Because dead girls can’t run.

And they don’t say a word.

Main Character Casting

Chloë Grace MoretzKylene Danners

I think Chloë Grace Moretz would be a perfect to play as the sarcastic, strong Kylene.  Chloë has proven herself to be a strong actress – both in sarcasm and fighting abilities (Hit-Girl).

Image result for Ian SomerhalderCedric Dawson

I don’t know about you, but when I’m reading either Dare You to Lie or Don’t Say a Word I picutre Cedric Dawson as Ian Somerhalder.  Dark, sarcastic, mysterious… and yes and yum lol.

Hailee SteinfeldTabby (Canadian-Imported Best Friend)

Tabby is fun and quick… and slightly awkward.  I think Hailee Steinfeld would play that perfectly.

Brenton Thwaites PictureGarret (Other Best Friend)

I had a harder time picking out who should play Garret.  I feel like Brenton Thwaites could play Garret well. He played a nice, sweet, reliable guy in The Giver – which is exactly what I think of when I think of Garret.

Taylor LautnerAJ (The Ex)

Well, Taylor Daniel Lautner was “paid” to show off his abs in multiple movies (yes, yes that’s a joke) so why not have him play AJ – who has a killer six (eight) pack lol.

Protective, gruff old man – why not Jeff Bridges!
